Jovit Baldivino, how will he spend his P2M?

Jovit Baldivino is the first Pilipinas Got Talent winner. The 16 year old siomai vendor from Batangas told ABS-CBN News that he is planning to buy a vacant lot for his family, send his siblings to school and help his parents financially. P2 million cash prize is more than what he really expected. He also advised other aspiring and struggling singers not to stop dreaming and to continue believing in themselves.

A teenager like Jovit should come up with a concrete plan how he will spend the P2M.  Buying a house for his family is a wise decision. But I am sure he will be fronted with many friends and neighbors, supporters as well, asking for “BALATO”.   He must  invest a portion of the money for business because P2M may be a huge amount but it may not be enough to accommodate everybody’s whims.

Jovit Baldivino was proclaimed the first Pilipinas Got Talent winner during the talent-reality show’s final night at the Araneta Coliseum on June 13, 2010 topping among other 11 finalists with 48.8% of the total text and online votes.

Jovit’s parents Cristeta and Larry also wish that Jovit would not change and they’re alway there for him to support him.Jovit already created a scene when he rendered his first audition piece, Faithfully of The Journey. The video was uploaded on Youtube making it very popular with more than 3 million viewers to date. With the striking resemblance of his voice to The Journey’s lead singer Steve Perry, he is dubbed as the new Arnel Pineda, the Filipino international artist who replaced Steve Perry.
