Apple provides live page for iPad iOS 4.2

In the recent media event of Apple, they had confirmed that their latest operation system iteration, the Apple iOS 4.2 would soon be coming to the iPad tablet slated this coming November 2010. Apple has created a dedicated website that provide the official details of iPad iOS 4.2.

It is expected that when the new version iOS 4.2 go live, it will bring over a 100 feature enhancements and innovations for iPad tablet. These include the much sought after multitasking capability which allows users to switch quickly between open applications much similar feature that works on OS 4.0 powered iPhone. Other notable improvement that is expected would be the wireless printing ability. iPad can print to a printer on a wireless network. “Folders” is also one notable feature which is most wanted by users. Through folders, the user can easily organize the apps using drag-and-drop which works exactly the same as in the iPhone and iPod touch running under iOS 4.

Another unexpectedly surprising feature included in iOS 4.2 is Air Play which enables the users to stream audio, video and pictures over WiFi to their Apple TV. Its truly awesome to imagine visiting your friend’s houses watching STEP UP 3D on your iPad and streaming it to your friend’s Apple TV in his living room. This will soon come to reality with iOS 4.2.

The new iOS 4.2 is indeed good news to iPad users but it is quite a shame that Apple keep its consumers waiting for so long and soon enough, iPad 2 will be launched shortly after the iOS 4.2 release.
